Beech Class Weekly News 12.12.25

Happy Friday!

This week we have been looking at the story of ' The Gingerbread Man'.

The children have enjoyed designing and making a bridge for the Gingerbread Man to cross the river.

In drawing club, we created a new character and the stinky cheese man and unicorn cupcake were some of our ideas.

In Maths, we have been looking at shapes. The children have liked finding shapes in our environment.

We have been going over all the sounds we have learnt so far. The children who have brought in their sound cards bags have had theirs changed to those they need to work on. We have included some vowels to help them make words, so they can work on blending as well. Can you please make sure sound cards are brought into school. Thank you.

Today, we were also due to change the group read books, but discovered quite a few children had left these at home. Please can you make sure they are brought in early next week, so these can be changed. Thanks.

Our certificate winner this week goes to Maisie. She has been courageous with her learning, especially in phonics. Maisie always tries hard even if she finds it a bit tricky. Well done!
