Year 6 Parents

The Local Authority have asked us to remind all Year 6 Parents/Carers that the deadline for applying for free school transport to their child’s allocated secondary school needs to be submitted by 31st May 2025.  If the application is not submitted by this date, the Authority may be unable to provide transport provision from the beginning of the Autumn Term and parents/carers will need to make their own transport arrangements.

For insurance purposes, and to ensure accurate loadings on all our school contracted vehicles, access to school transport is not permitted until entitlement has been confirmed, and any application submitted after this date cannot be guaranteed that their application will be assessed in time.  Parents/carers can apply online at Secondary | Shropshire Council  Alternatively, applications can be submitted by telephoning our Customer Services Team on 0345 678 9008.
