Willow Weekly Newsletter 23/10/25

A huge thank you to everyone who joined our Diwali Inspire Afternoon—it was wonderful to share our learning with you. The children worked collaboratively to create some beautiful pieces of Diwali-inspired artwork, and I was so proud of their enthusiasm and creativity.

This week, we have also been completing assessments in reading, maths, and spelling and grammar. The children showed such a positive attitude and fantastic progress—it truly reflects their hard work and determination. Please continue to support learning at home through daily reading, Spelling Shed, and Mathletics, as it really makes a difference.

We also performed Happy by Pharrell Williams on the recorder for Year 2, who absolutely loved listening!

Finally, a huge well done on our swimming progress—from 7% to 60% swimming 25m front and back!

We finished the week with a spooky disco- the children all looked brilliant!

Well done to this week’s certificate winner Lilly

Have a lovely half term,

Miss Bliss and Mr Jones
