Happy Friday and happy summer holidays!

We have been looking at the story ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ and the children enjoyed tasting lots of fruit in their own fruit salad. We also read ‘Handa’s surprise' and talked about words to describe food such as crunchy and creamy.  In maths, we used fruit to help solve addition and subtraction problems and we have been sorting food into healthy and unhealthy.

The children weren't too sure about tasting the lemon!

We had a very special drawing club this week where Greg Bottrill shared ‘Trip Trap’ which had an alternative ending to the story ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’, which has been one of our favourite stories this half term.  The children created an ultimate troll, green monster, boats, houses and a water slide.

Thank you for your all support this year.

Have a great summer holiday. We hope the children have a well-deserved rest.
