Willow Weekly News 18.10.24

Firstly, thank you to all of the parents who attended parents evening this week. It was great to see you and to share your child’s learning with you.

In English, we have been continuing with writing non-chronological reports. This week we wrote about yellow-spotted lizards. I was impressed with the vocabulary used in their writing.

In Maths, we have been learning how to solve multi-step problems, the order of multi operation questions and how solve metal calculations and estimate. Please continue to encourage your child to access Mathletics at home.

In Music, we have been learning how to play the song ‘Happy’ on recorders. The children learnt how to play the chords A, G and B. 

This week, Willow won the attendance award, plus some individual winners as well! A huge well done, let’s keep it up!

Well done to Alisha who received the certificate in celebration assembly this week.
