Willow Class Weekly Newsletter 4.7.25

It’s been a busy and exciting week in Willow Class! In Maths, we’ve been putting our skills to the test by designing our very own theme parks. We explored real-world maths by calculating costs, profits, and losses – and discovered just how tricky running a business can be!

In PSHE, we’ve been learning how to stay safe online. The class shared some brilliant tips for protecting personal information, including using secure passwords, keeping our location private, and never accepting friend requests from people we don’t know. We also discussed why it’s important not to use our full names as usernames.

On Wednesday, we had a special visit from students at Belvidere Secondary School, who led a fantastic P.E. session. The children had great fun and it was a lovely opportunity to meet some friendly faces ahead of September.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for the Summer Fayre on Saturday! If you’re available, we’d love for Year 6 to sing a couple of songs during the afternoon.

Next week, we’ll be performing our production I’m an 11 Year Old... Get Me Out of Here! Morning showing: Wednesday at 9:15am; evening showing: Thursday at 4:30pm. Please ensure all children are back in school by 4:00pm on Thursday.

Well done to this weeks golden certificate winner, Omar

Have a lovely weekend, Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
