Willow Class Newsletter 17.4.23

It has been wonderful to welcome the children back after the Easter break. They have returned ready and refreshed for a busy but exciting term ahead.

This week in maths, we have been focusing on our arithmetic skills, and the children have shown a great ability to work quickly and carefully when answering questions.

In reading, we have been developing our inference skills, explaining how and why we know something by using evidence from the text to support our answers.

In P.E, we have begun our striking and fielding unit, focusing on improving our throwing and catching techniques. A reminder that P.E. is on Thursday afternoon.

Next week, we have our Mock SATs, helping children understand routines and expectations. They have all been working incredible hard and we are proud of their achievements.
