Happy Friday!

The children all looked great dressed up as their favourite book character yesterday.

The children enjoyed drawing and writing about their favourite character and book, finishing writing a story and creating a dream catcher.

This week, in our writing lessons the children have planned and written a character description about the witch in our class text. They have been working on using fronted adverbials, expanded noun phrases and writing in third person. In Maths, the children have been dividing a 2-digit number by 10, recognising hundredths as fractions and decimals, and finding hundredths on a place value chart.

Next Thursday in our Design and Technology lesson, the children will be tasting food (mainly fruit and vegetables). Please make sure we are aware of any food allergies or intolerance.

Well done, Hollie who won the certificate this week. She has been trying hard to make good choices and has been more focused. Keep it up!
