Good afternoon,
We have managed to pack quite a bit into our short week. The children managed to write their stories today about how a toy came to life and help with a problem. There was a real range from children improving their football or dancing skills, to help finding lost/stolen items. They really took on board what was asked and most have managed to write very neatly whilst doing so.
In maths we have been exploring money, using our number bonds to 100 to help quickly solve different calculations. Please encourage the children to use Mathletics to help consolidate their learning, particularly if they have said they've found it a bit tricky.
Alongside maths we have been looking at the multiplication tables check (MTC) as I mentioned in last week's post. Most children are now scoring above 20 out of 25 so please keep helping them practice at home, there are some tricky 7 and 8 times tables catching a few out.
In computing we have continued to develop out image editing skills, which some of the children have a very good understanding of. I look forward to sharing some of these with you in the coming weeks.

Today the children took home a letter about next Friday, it is a consent letter so needs to be signed and returned otherwise they will not be able to take part.
As always please keep up the daily reading, we have just under 200,000 words to read to reach our next target in a couple of week time.
Hope you all have a great weekend,
Mr Reynolds
