Sycamore Newsletter - 6.3.26

Good afternoon,

We have had quite a creative week in Sycamore class. We started the week with using water colours in art, then creating our own character descriptions in English and we had World Book Day yesterday with lots of fantastic costumes.

In maths we are still looking at fractions, some children are really grasping the new concepts and are able to apply their multiplication understanding to help them. Please keep helping them practise at home and there is always Mathletics which shows what we have been covering in class.

Next week we will be doing some tests with the children to confirm how much they have built on to prior learning on and what they can apply.

As always please keep encouraging the children to read at home, unfortunately we have very few reading at home and our reading targets and quizzes are not being met.

Hope you all have a good weekend,

Mr Reynolds

Wow – what a year we have had! We are incredibly proud of all of the children and everything they have achieved this year. They have worked so hard, grown in confidence, and shown resilience, kindness
