Good afternoon,
I have been really impressed with how well the children have written in their setting descriptions. The vocabulary they have used is fantastic, and it has been lovely to see so many children taking real care with their handwriting.
In Maths, we have been focusing on comparing decimals, and the children are growing in confidence when discussing the value of different numbers. In History, we explored our local area and discussed why certain roads have their names, which sparked some great curiosity and thoughtful questions.
In PE, the children have been enjoying developing their skills in both hockey and cricket. They have practised dribbling and passing in hockey, as well as improving their throwing accuracy in cricket.7

We have had a bit of drop in Mathletics certificates as a class, please encourage the children to revisit and consolidate their learning at home.
As always please keep the children reading at home, it would be great to hit our reading target this half term of 3,500,000 words.
I hope you all have a great weekend,
Mr Reynolds
