Good afternoon everyone,
The children had an interesting start to the week seeing their new teacher and going into their new classroom. They were very keen to tell me what they had been up to and I am sure they have shared this with you as well. We have had an excellent end to the week as well. The children have produced some brilliant letters in their writing this morning, showing all the different elements they know and lots of them were very neat.
In computing we finished off coding our games and a few children managed to develop theirs enough to have different levels. They were very interesting to play and there were a good range of ideas.
In geography we revisited animals that live in the rainforest and what helps them to survive in those particular conditions. The children were then tasked to create a new predator and prey that have been recently discovered, applying their understanding.

Please keep up the reading at home, it is a great calming and cooling activity.
Hope you have a great weekend,
Mr Reynolds
