Oak Weekly newsletter 04/09/2026

What a fantastic first week back we have had in Oak Class! It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back and see the children settle so positively into the new school year.

Throughout the week, we have enjoyed taking part in a variety of "getting to know you" activities and team-building games. These have helped us learn more about one another, build new friendships and create a happy, supportive classroom environment. It has been lovely to see so much enthusiasm, kindness and confidence from all the children.

A particular highlight of the week was our first swimming lesson. The children represented the school brilliantly and demonstrated excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and determination. It was a huge success, and we are already looking forward to our next session!

Just a reminder that our PE day is Tuesday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on this day so they are ready to take part in all activities.

I am incredibly proud of how well everyone has started the term and am looking forward to spending a full week together next week as we continue our exciting learning journey.
