Welcome back! We have had a great week introducing our new topics for this term. They are extremely excited about our new PE unit Tennis and our new class text 'The Jamie Drake Equation'.
In English, we have started reading our new class text, which is all about aliens, astronauts and outer space! We have used our book to start writing a setting description on the observatory.
In Maths, we have started learning all about decimals and how these relate to fractions. We have introduced the decimal point and new columns in our place value chart.
In Music this week, the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring old school hip hop and trying to rap our new song 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.
In PE this week, we have also started 'rhythmic gymnastics' and how to incorporate props into our movements.
World Book Day is next Thursday (6th March). Make sure to dress up as your favourite character and we look forward to the exciting activities ahead!
