Oak News- 17.1.25

What a fantastic and muddy week we have had in Oak Class!

The children had the opportunity to join the Wild Tribe this week with Miss Harris. Please see pictures below of all the exciting activities the children got up to:

In English, we have written a letter to the Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, to inform him of the effects pollution is having on our country and world. We explained our points and encouraged him to do something about cutting pollution down in order to save the world.

In Maths, we have been mastering short division. The children have used the 'bus stop' method and concrete resources to divide 4-digit numbers.

We even turned our worlds upside down this week - literally - in PE. See photos below of us doing some rolls in Gymnastics.

Our Certificate winner this week is Holly. Well Done!

Have a great weekend

Miss Hipkiss and Miss Nicholas
