Happy Weekend Everyone! It’s been a short week but we’ve managed to pack a lot of learning in!
In Maths, we finished off our topic based on Money, and started a new topic based on Time. We began by looking at Roman Numerals and had great fun trying to figure out all of the numbers up to 12.
In English, we wrote Newspaper Reports based on the first Golden Ticket being found in Charlie and the Chocolate factory. We focused on the Who, What, When, Where and Why that needed to be added, as well as adding in our own adjectives to make it more interesting.

In DT, we had a go at following a recipe and made Nut Free Pesto as a class. We know that pesto is made out of Basil, and everyone in the class had a go at a small job to create it. We then all tasted it as well afterwards.
In French this week, we took our lesson outside to the playground. We took part in a mini French PE lesson, using our listening skills and new language to play a few games.
In Computing, we had a good go at using Desktop Publishing software to create a fact file about our favourite thing or hobby. We added text and pictures to make it more interesting.
Please make sure to bring in your waivers for our fun day early next week!
Have a lovely weekend! Mrs Brunyard, Miss Cluderay and Mrs Savory
