Hazel Weekly Newsletter 24.4.26

Happy Weekend everyone! We have had another busy week full of learning in Hazel Class.

In English, we have been continuing with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and creating a character description of Willy Wonka in our writing.

In Maths, we have revisiting Fractions. We have been adding fractions together with the same denominators.

In DT, we planted our herbs in class. We chose between Parsley, Basil, Rosemary, Mint, Chives and Tarragon, and will be watching how they grow over the next few weeks.

In Computing, we practiced using Microsoft Word to change fonts and sizes of our writing. We also discussed how to keep ourselves safe using the computers, by logging on and off properly.

In PE, we looked at passing the ball in different scenarios in Invasion Games. In Net and Wall, we focused on accuracy as we rolled and threw balls at targets.

Please make sure that all children are bringing in water bottles as the weather looks to be getting warmer.
