Hazel Weekly Newsletter 12.9.25

We’ve had a fantastic start to the year in Hazel Class!

In Reading, we have started our book D Day Dog by Tom Palmer. The children are excited to explore the story together.

In English, we have been learning the features of character descriptions to put into our own writing, as well as focusing on our handwriting.

In Maths, we began our place value unit and have been working with numbers up to 1000. We have been partitioning numbers into their hundreds, tens and ones.

In Computing, we have been learning the way that digital devices work, and creating our own with an input, process and output.

We have also started learning French, which has been very exciting. We are using every opportunity to practice using it!

Just a reminder - Earrings and hoodies cannot be worn for PE.

Well done to our certificate winner this week!

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Brunyard, Miss Cluderay and Mrs Savory
