Hazel Weekly Newsletter

We had an amazing time in Hazel Class this week!

In English, we wrote a Diary Entry linking to our class book D-Day dog. We are really knowledgeable about our book as we were able to put ourselves in the position of the main character and really think about their thoughts and feelings.

In Maths we are finishing our Addition and Subtraction topic and have been continuing to practice exchanging across numbers.

In PE we have enjoyed following instructions and working together as a team in OAA and creating a final sequence of movement in Gymnastics. Everyone has worked very hard to practice listening skills and techniques in both lessons.

In DT we used our switches that we made last week to complete a circuit. We were very excited when we made the lightbulbs light up, knowing that we created a component of the circuit.

In Music, we enjoyed singing Let Your Spirit Fly, by Joanna Mangona and comparing music with other artists to see what we liked and what we didn’t. We also played along to the song on our glockenspiels.

Please remember to read at home, it makes a big difference.

Well done to our certificate winners! We hope you had a good weekend
