Beech Weekly News 17.10.25

Happy Friday!


It was great to speak to parents/carers at parents evening this week to talk about how your child has settled into school. Thank you so much for all those who have brought in the forms for brilliant brushers. Please let us know if you need a form or any further information.


This week the children have enjoyed looking at the story 'Little Red Riding Hood'. They have been weaving baskets, making cakes out of playdough, cutting out food and drawing a disguise for the wolf.

In maths, we have been looking at 1, 2 and 3. Yesterday, the children enjoyed using their subitising skills to look for 1, 2 and 3 outside. The video below tells you more about subitising and why it is so important to help their maths skills:
