In English this week, we’ve been diving into The Twits and having lots of fun writing letters of complaint addressed to the very grumpy Mr Twit — straight from the point of view of the Muggle-Wump monkeys! 🐒✉️

I have been so impressed by the children’s creativity, independence, and confidence when writing. They worked hard to organise their ideas, use persuasive language, and really think about how the monkeys would feel.

In Maths, we’ve continued to build our confidence with multiplication and have now started to introduce division. The children have been working hard to make links between the two and are doing a great job exploring how they work together. 💡➖✖️

Please continue to practice times tables at home, as this really helps to build speed, confidence, and understanding in class. Every little bit of practice makes a big difference🌟

In Computing, the children have been busy designing their own map designs. They showed great creativity and problem-solving skills while thinking carefully about layout and details.🗺️✨

In PSHE, we’ve had some great discussions about making good money choices and why saving is important. The children shared thoughtful ideas and then put their learning into action by designing their own piggy banks. There was lots of creativity on show, and some fantastic conversations about goals, saving, and spending wisely! 💰✨🐷

I’m really looking forward to showcasing all of their amazing work and meeting with you all again at parents’ evenings next week.

Our Crowmoor Certificate Winner is Nyah. Our Reading Rex winner this week is Sara. Well done both!
