English
This week, we continued to enjoy The Twits, diving into the wonderfully revolting humour of Roald Dahl. The children especially loved exploring the “Wormy Spaghetti” chapter and even had a go at writing their own versions. They came up with some truly imaginative (and very disgusting!) meals designed to trick Mr Twit—there were some brilliant ideas and lots of laughter along the way.
Maths
In Maths, we have moved on to multiplication, and I have been absolutely amazed by the children’s engagement and progress. They have been working hard to find groups of objects and compare equal groups, showing great understanding and teamwork. Please continue to support this learning at home—singing multiplication songs is a fun and effective way to practise!
PSHE
Our PSHE lessons this week focused on earning money. We discussed how money is earned through different jobs, and the children shared their own ideas about what they might like to be when they grow up. They enjoyed drawing their future job aspirations and talking confidently about their choices.

Design & Technology
In D&T, we have begun learning about food groups and the importance of making healthy choices. This is all in preparation for an exciting upcoming project where the children will design their own fruit salad. They are already showing great interest in learning about healthy diets.
Our certificate winner this week is Izaak. Our Reading Rex winner is Riva. Well done both!
