Chestnut Newsletter 7.2.25

We have had a great first week of the month!

In our English lessons, we have read the book called The Tin Forest by Helen Ward. It is a lovely story of recycling and making beautiful things out of rubbish.

They have written a letter to the old man in the story and asked him lots of questions using a question mark.

In maths, we have begun to count to 50 and to recognise the tens and ones in a two digit number.

Here are some of the things we have been getting up to!

All the children have enjoyed their Wild Tribe session. Thank you for providing old clothes and a change of footwear. They really make the most of being outside!

Have a great weekend, please keep reading,

Mrs Dowell, Mrs Armstrong and Mr Jones
