Beech Class Weekly News 24.4.26

Happy Friday!

The children have been enjoying getting outside in the sunshine. They have really liked using our bikes, building in our construction area, singing in our performance area and looking at books by the tree. Please make sure your child's belongings are named, so if they take off their cardigans or jumpers and they are misplaced, they can be returned. Also a reminder to please bring reading records, books and sound cards in each day. Thank you.

This week we have been looking at the story 'The mixed-up Chameleon'. They have been creating their own mixed up chameleon, building a home for animals, drawing and making their favourite characters and talking about what camouflage means. In Maths, we have been looking at patterns. The children have been identifying, repeating, continuing and making their own patterns.

Our certificate winner this week is Elari. She has done some fantastic reading and used her phonics knowledge to help her when writing. Well done!

Please help your children by listening to them read and practising their sound and tricky word cards at home.

We hope you have a great weekend.

Mrs Fairclough and Mrs Kenny
