Beech Class Weekly News 15.5.26

What a great way to end our week with the fun afternoon! The children all had a great time.

This week, we started the week finding a locked treasure chest and talked about what we thought could be inside. When we found the keys we discovered coins and gems inside. We looked at how many we had and ways to make 5 and 10.

After sorting the gems, the children compared amounts, noticing which group had more/less and how many each group had.

We have been looking at the story ' The pirate next door' and written their own message in a bottle. The children have also been creating their own ocean scenes, bracelets for mermaids and pirate ships.
