It has been another fantastic week in Year 6!

In Reading, we have really enjoyed continuing with our class text, Holes, and getting to know the characters even more. We are looking forward to discovering what happens next.

In Writing, we have been creating non-chronological reports about Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. The children have been learning fascinating facts and organising their information.

In Maths, we have been working on long division- the children have shown great resilience with this tricky concept.

In Computing, we have explored different ways to communicate using the internet. This week, the children were challenged to finish someone else’s drawing without communicating with them. We loved seeing the imaginative outcomes and had great fun sharing them with one another.

Please do not forget to sign up to our Year 6 inspire afternoon on Wednesday 21st October, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

Well done to our certificate winner, Callum.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bliss and Miss Davies.
