It has been another busy and productive week in our classroom! In Writing, we have continued our persuasive writing unit. This week, we had to explain why Camp Green Lake is a good place and why it should be kept as a form of punishment. The children have worked hard to develop convincing arguments and use persuasive language.

In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of long multiplication and division. I have been particularly impressed with the children’s understanding of how to use formal written methods to solve these calculations accurately.

In PSHE, we have been learning about negative bias. We discussed strategies we can use when we notice ourselves having negative opinions and used a Diamond 9 activity to rank and discuss different strategies.

Well done to our certificate winner, Declan.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
