Willow Weekly Newsletter 11.9.26
We have had a brilliant week in Willow Class! It has been wonderful to see how well the children have settled into life in Year 6. Well done, everyone!
In English, we have been writing character descriptions about key characters from our text, Holes. We have been developing our writing by using expanded noun phrases, adverbial phrases and parenthesis.
In Maths, we have begun our new unit on Place Value, working with numbers up to 1 million.
In P.E, we have started our Outdoor and adventurous activities unit. This week, we have a problem solving task called 'Farmer in a fix' where we had to work collaboratively as a group to work through the problem as fast as we could. The class showed great teamwork and communication skills.

Just a reminder that P.E. is on Wednesday and Friday. Please also remember that children should not wear make-up to school or brining in personal items from home.
Well done to our certificate winner this week, Lottie.
Have a lovely weekend!
Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
