Willow Class Weekly Newsletter 25.9.26

In English, we have been writing persuasive texts to Judge Malone from Holes, explaining why we think Camp Green Lake should be banned as a punishment. I have been so impressed with the children’s use of modal verbs to make their arguments convincing and persuasive.

In Maths, we have started our new unit on the four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This week, we have focused on finding factors and multiples, with the children showing a strong understanding of their times tables.

In Art, we have been sketching fish in preparation for creating prints. Well done to everyone for the fantastic detail and care shown in their drawings!
