Sycamore Newsletter - 16/10/26
Dear Parents and Carers,
It was lovely to see so many of you at Parent's Evening this week and discuss the positive attitudes and how determined to learn your children are.
We have had a very creative writing week in class, and the children have produced some lovely, detailed stories based on our original narrative. It has been wonderful to see their imagination, effort and enthusiasm reflected in their work.
In maths, we have now come to the end of our addition and subtraction unit. To help the children continue to consolidate their learning, a reminder that they all have a Mathletics login available to support practise at home.
In history, we have been learning about the role of druids in the Stone Age and Iron Age. The children have developed a better understanding of this role, and this has helped them to build their knowledge of what life may have been like during this era.
As always, please do continue to support your child with their daily reading. Regular reading makes a real difference to fluency, confidence and understanding.
I hope you all have a great weekend,
Mr Reynolds
