Sycamore Newsletter - 17.4.26

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to share that we have had a very positive start to the new term. In English, the children have been exploring setting descriptions and have produced some fantastic creative ideas. It has been wonderful to see their imagination and descriptive language developing so confidently. We have also begun our new class text, Ariki and the Island of Wonders, which the children are already thoroughly enjoying.

In Maths, we have seen some very high scores in our end-of-unit assessments. To support them further please remember to use Mathletics regularly. This will help them revisit and consolidate their learning in a fun and engaging way.

The reading at home has dipped off a little bit in our class at the moment, so please keep encouraging the children to pick one of their books in an evening or before school and read.

If you have any questions on queries please drop me an email at sycamore@crowmoorschool.co.uk

Regards,

Mr Reynolds
