Happy Half Term Everyone!
This week we wrote a Book Review in English, all about D-Day Dog. It was exciting to see how much we could remember about the book. We enjoyed choosing our favourite and least favourite parts and writing our recommendations.
In Maths, we finished our Addition and Subtraction topic. We consolidated our learning by completing written questions and picking out the important information in each one. Please encourage your child to use Mathletics over the holidays to support their learning and recall all of the fantastic work they have done.
We ended our first half term with a fabulous Spooky Dress-Up Day and Halloween Disco. Everyone had a great time dancing and singing along! We also enjoyed Halloween colouring and music in class.

We are excited to start our swimming sessions soon. We would encourage parents to take children for a session if you can, just to build up some confidence. The local pool is offering Free Sessions (details on our Facebook page).
Well done to our certificate winner this week!
Wishing you a relaxing and safe half term!
Mrs Brunyard, Miss Cluderay and Mrs Savory
