Happy Friday! The children have had a brilliant week and worked extremely hard!

In English, we have been looking at the features of a Persuasive Letter. We have been adding in conjunctions, adverbs and time conjunctions. Today we wrote a letter about our school uniform to Mr Horton!

In Maths, we have been focusing on telling the time. We have looked at the difference between am and pm, read analogue and digital clocks, and tried to tell time to the minute.

In DT, we looked at strawberries, where they come from and even tried a few. We tried to count all of the seeds on a strawberry but thought that estimating was better and less time consuming!

In Science, we did an experiment to see if we could change the colour of celery by leaving it in dye. We’re still awaiting the results.

We had an amazing time this afternoon on the inflatables and foam party. Everyone got very soggy!
