Hazel - 7.3.25

Crowmoor Teacher

Good afternoon,

We have had a very productive week in Hazel. In maths we finished our unit on length and have now moved on to fractions. For history we continued our investigation into the Ancient Egyptians and this week looked at some of the gods they worshiped and why.

In English we have finished our look at play scripts and even managed to combine it into some of our World Book Day activities. Here are some of our ideas of how to finish the story Mr Horton started in assembly.

Also on World Book Day we looked at the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which inspired us to make our own Golden Ticket and chocolate bar.

Thank you for all of your efforts and help with the children's costumes they looked great.

Just a reminder that we only have PE on Mondays at the moment, the rest of the week the children should be in their school uniform and black shoes.

Please keep up the reading at home, we have just passed the half way mark of year 3 and I would love for the reading to keep progressing the way it has done so far this year.

I hope you all have a great weekend,

Mr Reynolds
