Hazel - 29.11.24

Good afternoon,

This week we had a very exciting start to the week with a visit from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service. This then gave us a great opportunity to produce a newspaper article, with lots of facts and some very interesting quotes. The children's handwriting continues to improve and I am sure they will be happy to show you next week at parent's evening.

In maths, we have been exploring the inverse operation and revisited our compliments to 100. In history we have looked at the importance of codes during World War 2 and had a go at trying to create our own.

This week one child who has tried particularly hard and has remained focus and is this week's certificate winner is Henley - congratulations.

This week we stayed in fourth position in the attendance, please keep encouraging the children to come to school and on time.

As always please keep up the home daily reading - it really does make a difference.

Hope you all have a great weekend,

Mr Reynolds
