Hazel - 17.1.25

Crowmoor Teacher

Good afternoon,

This week our attendance has shot back up and we are currently sat in second place, hopefully we can build on this and climb into first next week.

In English the children have written some lovely setting descriptions, really thinking about their use of adjectives and then using conjunctions to combine their ideas. In maths we have finished our unit on learning new times-tables and will now move on to looking at formal methods of multiplication and division.

In history we have explored what life would have been like for the Ancient Egyptians and how important the river was for them. This has led us to learn about water and The Water Cycle in our geography lessons.

This week one child who has worked really hard and has started contributing more to class discussions and is this week's certificate winner is Elsie - congratulations.

As always please keep up the daily reading at home, we have started slowing down on our class word count so it would be great if we could pick that back up.

Monday's are the only day this term when the children should be in P.E. kit due to us going swimming on a Friday.

Hope you all have a great weekend,

Mr Reynolds
