What a fab week we have had!

The children have enjoyed another book about Harry and his dinosaurs, this week they went to school!

We have written a letter to Nan and told her all about our first day at school. The children are starting to have a go at writing independently after rehearsing the sentence together.

In maths, we have spent a lot of time using practical resources to understand addition fact families. Here is an example, we have been exploring all the different ways to make the numbers up to 10:

4 + 3 = 7

3 + 4 = 7

7 = 4 + 3

7 = 3 + 4

On Monday the children had great fun learning about Picasso and his abstract portraits They then used a photo of themselves to make their own abstract portrait in the style of Picasso!

Guess who!

In P.E., The children are learning to work collaboratively and to communicate effectively as a team to solve problems:

Have a fab weekend,

Mrs Dowell, Miss Nicholas and Mr Jones
