Happy Friday!

The children are really enjoying doing actions to our words in our Drawing Club sessions. This week we have looked at 'The Three Little Pigs' and our words were:
construct
sturdy
flimsy
obliterate
scraper
exhale
The children have been retelling the story, making masks, designing and making houses and enjoyed thinking of a disguise for the wolf to try and trick the pigs.
Here are some patterns the children made in Maths:

In phonics, the children have learnt 'ck', 'e', 'u' and 'r'. New sound cards have been put in the children's packs and please continue to practise these and keep up the reading at home.
There seems to be quite a few children not bringing in jumpers/cardigans and coats to school. As the weather is getting cooler and we are having some rain, these do need to be brought into school daily. Thank you.
Our certificate winner this week is Ellie-Mae. She has been listening well and trying hard with her learning, especially in Phonics this week. Ellie-Mae has also been a good friend to others in the class. Well done!
We hope you have a great weekend.
Mrs Fairclough, Mrs Kenny and Miss Hotchkiss.
