Happy Friday!

The children have done their first full week at school! We are so proud of how they have all settled in and are getting used to the rules and routines. Our certificate winner this week is Oliver, for being courageous and settling so well into school. Well done!

We have looked at the story 'Super Duper You' and the children liked talking about what was super about them. We have created our class charter and talked about how we can try to make sure everyone feels happy and safe in school.

In Maths, we have been singing rhymes, looking at the same and different in relation to size and colour and making repeating patterns. In Phonics sessions, we have been looking at different nursery rhymes and working on voice sounds, rhyming words and clapping the syllables.

Today, the children enjoyed going to the hall for their first PE session. We looked at finding a space, stopping and trying to move in different ways. A reminder that the children should wear their PE jumper or cardigan (please can you make sure these are named) for PE and earrings need to be removed. Thank you.

We hope you have a great weekend.
